This summer we took a trip to Colorado. Jeremy had never been there and he needed to see those beautiful mountains! We left after he got off of work on a Thursday night and drove all night long. We took a short nap in a rest area just outside of Denver because we didn't want to get to Vail at 8 am when nothing was open yet. We had to stop there for a race packet pick-up for Jeremy. Our first stop was to get out and explore Loveland Pass a little bit.
We stopped in Vail and did a hike that was supposed to go to a waterfall. Unfortunately it started to storm when we still about 30 minutes from it we high tailed it back down the mountain. So, long hike with no view at the end. Bummer. Then we headed into Vail to spend a little time and pick up the race packet and drove on to my cousin David's house in Basalt. The girls were tired out after that long day full of fresh air!
