Maddox's first trip

Maddox had her first trip Easter weekend to Nashville, TN. My Grandma Wheeler (Memo) and Aunt, Uncle, and cousins live there. It's a seven hour drive and Maddox was great! Of course she was only about 7 weeks old then. She slept a lot but stayed awak for a little over an hour and just looked at Jeremy or stared out the window. We stopped once to feed her and us and spend our live savings on a tank of gas.

She got to meet her great-grandma Memo there. Memo adored her and loved holding her. Memo also tried to feed her a Cheeto, a french fry, and some iced tea. She told us we could leave her there and she'd take care of her if we wanted to. Hmmm, I don't think so.

We went to Easter services and Maddox slept the whole time. In case you need any evidence of that fact . . .

After church Maddox wasn't so happy. I don't think she liked the Easter egg part of the day. Or she's like her mother and was sick and tired of wearing her new frilly Easter dress that Grandma bought her.
